Vermouth di Torino I.G.P.
Rosso Superiore
recipe with Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC and Barolo DOCG
According to ancient Turin tradition – and as established by current legislation – at least seventy-five per cent of an authentic vermouth must be wine. This is where it all begins: only a base of excellent quality can give life to a vermouth worthy of the name.

Around this vital heart is woven a mosaic of aromas: spices, flowers, fruits, berries, roots, leaves, woods and seeds from distant lands or secret gardens. Each of them leaves its own unique and changing mark, shaped by the terroir, the weather and the seasons.

Alcohol and sugar enhance its voice, blending the character of the wine and the poetry of the botanicals in a single breath, in an infinite interplay of aromas, colours and flavours. Finally, just as every brushstroke contributes to the perfection of a painting, so the experience, sensitivity and patience of the master distiller guide every step of the process, until the absolute harmony of a great vermouth is achieved. In creating this product, we have followed these ancient and simple principles, allowing tradition, nature and time to express themselves to the fullest.
With an intense ruby red colour and garnet highlights, this Vermouth di Torino Rosso Superiore reveals a magnificent, ethereal bouquet that ranges from flowers and fruits to a world of spices. Gentle and harmonious, it offers intriguing hints of violet, dog rose, wildflowers, citrus fruits, apple and black cherry, as well as fresh and dried peach. Intense, enveloping notes of sweet spices, with vanilla standing out, accompany and complement hints of bitter and balsamic herbs.

Vermouth di Torino: ready-to-drink cocktails for over 300 years.
Enjoy neat, chilled, with a twist of lemon.

Soft, enveloping and persistent, it reveals its aromatic richness with a slow, measured grace. The robust character of this noble grape variety, expertly crafted, interacts with the bitter undertones of wormwood, cinchona and gentian, whilst fresh, citrusy notes of orange and angelica enhance the overall profile. Hints of cloves and delicate notes of red berries lend depth and warmth. On the finish, the soft astringency of the tannins and a barely perceptible balsamic freshness prolong the sensation of great pleasure.
